Mehdi Kazemi

Surely the case of Mehdi Kazemi, a gay Iranian student, who could well face execution should he be forced to return to Iran, is what the asylum laws were designed for? We have to sincerely hope that the Home Office does whatever it has to in order to prevent this gross injustice. Mr Kazemi's former partner, 'Parham', was executed for the Iranian crime of sodomy in 2006 and it is believed that Mr Kazemi's name was passed to the authorities during the interrogation prior to that conviction. He cannot be made to return.
